Malenis Acevedo, LMSW BIlingual (English, Spanish)

Malenis is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who completed her graduate degree at the University of St. Joseph. Malenis has been practicing in the social work field since graduating from Western Connecticut State University with her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree in 2018. Malenis has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in the past 6 years within the schools and child protection services. She has worked with diverse populations experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. Malenis takes a strength based approach to identify and understand her clients strengths and needs and empower them to actively work on their identified goals. 

Malenis is accepting clients in the Waterbury area in-person or telehealth.
