My name is Ana Blondet. Currently, I am a full-time Special Education school social worker with 15 years of experience in working with mental health. Nine of those years have been specifically in counseling. I primarily work with children who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, OHI-ADD-ADHD, and ODD. This work is done through managing impulse control, zones of regulation, social-emotional learning, positive affirmations, positive self-image, and motivational interviewing. As part of working with children, I also provide strategies to their parents. I have also provided counseling to adults with similar issues. I am bilingual and can offer sessions in Spanish. I am also of Christian faith for anyone looking for a Christian counselor. I aim to utilize my skills to help clients dig deep and overcome their challenges while understanding that certain things are beyond our control. The key is to work on living a mentally healthy life.
